Williams Family Circle
Reunion 2026
Williams Family Circle
About the Reunion
The Williams Family Reunion was started over 100 years ago by the ten children of Josephine and her husband Charles. Josephine, the daughter of Mountain Williams—a woman who endured enslavement under John Williams—passed down a legacy rooted in strength, resilience, and an unshakable commitment to family.
Those ten siblings began gathering with a shared purpose: to stay connected, to support one another, and to ensure that the bonds of family would never be broken. What they started has continued through generations, carried forward by their descendants who remain committed to that same vision.
Over time, the reunion has grown to include not only their direct descendants, but also other branches of Mountain Williams’ lineage, expanding the circle while keeping its foundation intact.
We are deeply blessed that this circle of love has never been broken. For more than a century, it has held firm—maintaining its purpose, strengthening our connections, and reminding us of who we are and where we come from.
